Formerly
the Ifield parish workhouse, this 18th-century building was divided into two
cottages but is now a single unit again. There is a chimney stack at each end,
an original tiled roof (whose gable ends are also tile-hung) and some timber
framing. The windows are surrounded by red-brick dressings.
