This
16th-century house was converted into a pub in the 1970s after a demolition
threat was averted. The pub has now closed and the house has reverted to a
private residence. The core of the greatly extended building is a two-storey,
two-bay, timbered hall-house with some old brickwork. The hipped roof is tiled
and has some gabled dormer windows.
