This
17th-century cottage in Worth is one of two thatched cottages in the borough;
the other is the older Radford Farmhouse. Although it is timber-framed, the
beams are supported by infilled brickwork—an early example of this technique,
which became common in Crawley. The west side differs: it has a tile-hung upper
storey. The chimney is 18th-century.
