This
house may originally have been an open hall-house of 2½ bays: some of the
internal timberwork is heavily blackened by smoke. Chimneys have been added at
both ends of the partly hipped roof. The timber framework is mostly obscured by
brickwork and tiles, but some is visible on an extension at the rear.
