The
modern garden centre surrounds the former Little Buckswood Farmhouse, which is
part of the complex. It dates from the 16th century and is partly timber-framed
(with some exterior brickwork) and partly tile-hung. The steep, tiled roof has
both hips and gables, and its chimney has been dated to about 1600.
