On
Poles Lane close to Lowfield Heath, this open hall-house of 1604 retains its
original smoke bay. The ground floor is of brick; above is tile-hung attic
space. A chimney rises next to the south face. The entrance is through a gabled
porch. An extra bay was added on the north side, and is used as a kitchen.
